Empowering
local communities.
We are Muyuna Foundation, part of Muyuna, part of something that matters.
Co-creating local resilience
The Amazon Rainforest is a common good here and there.
Locally the flora and fauna give local Amazonian communities opportunities to peacefully live in touch with nature. Globally, the forest and river are drivers of natural Earth systems.
Human activity is constantly pushing the Amazon’s dynamic equilibrium to the brink of exhaustion.
It’s up to us, coming together from here and wide, to join forces in fighting against the degradation of our climate-stabilizing, resource-rich, and multicultural jungle.
We provide a platform to empower local community resilience.
By living and working in the area, we are able to immerse ourselves in the culture and understand what is most important to the people. This allows us to develop projects that are tailored to their specific needs and build resilience within the community to achieve long-term conservation goals.
The act of changing.
The act of doing.
The act of being accountable for our doing.
